HOW ARE CHIN AUGMENTATION PROCEDURES PERFORMED?

Chin implant surgery is usually performed using local anesthesia and sedation medication in a certified outpatient surgical suite. The implant is inserted through a small incision made in the natural crease line under the chin. The incision is closed with fine sutures.

Dermal fillers are done in the office.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AFTER YOUR CHIN IMPLANT PROCEDURE?

Chin implants typically recover quickly but chewing may be restricted. Also, physical activities such as bending and lifting are limited for several days. Chin implant surgery, patients wear a compression garment for several days after the surgery.*
